The game in Kavadarci was also quite interesting. Fifth rankedKozuv (13-13) played at the court of 6th ranked Tikvesh (11-15). Kozuv managed to secure a 7-point victory 97-90 on Saturday. Kozuv outrebounded Tikvesh 39-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. Kozuv looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American Brian Bowen II (203-1998, college: Louisville, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 31 points and 17 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) and the other American import Rodney Purvis (193-1994, college: UConn) supported him with 23 points and 5 assists. Kozuv's coach Ljupcho Malinkov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Quinton Mincey (201, college: UMass Lowell) did not help to save the game for Tikvesh . The former international Petar Boshaleski (197-2004) added 21 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kozuv maintains fifth position with 13-13 record, which they share with Cair 2030. Tikvesh lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Rabotnicki.
